Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Eran Wickramaratne today (20) stated that the Port City Economic Commission Bill is harmful to the country because it would compromise the hard-earned freedom of Sri Lanka. “The extent of this fake patriotism is that the Constitution of Sri Lanka has been violated 26 times due to the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill. He stated that the members of his party are not against the Port City but that they are against the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill. Sri Lanka should have the ownership of the Port City,” he said. He said that only then can the citizens of Sri Lanka be sure that things will work out responsibly.
