Toronto Blue Jays fans cheering on their home team on Sunday will be forced to drink beer out of plastic cups after the Rogers Centre banned beer cans for the remainder of the post-season. The move comes after a fan chucked a beer can onto the field during this week’s wild card playoff game in Toronto. As such, all beer will be poured into cups throughout the stadium for the remainder of the Postseason,” a statement from Blue Jays management released Sunday said. Orioles players and Jays fans in the audience also reported hearing racial slurs hurled at the opposing team during and after the game. The Blue Jays could sweep the Texas Rangers in the game Sunday evening.
