Power supply in Barisal, Khulna, Rajshahi and Rangpur was restored on Tuesday after five hours suspension due to a grid failure on Monday night. The power supply disruption occurred as the national grids of Ghorashal-Ishwardi and Ashuganj-Sirajganj electricity transmission lines were damaged. The western region of Bangladesh gets power supply from these two 230kV each transmission lines. Later, the power supply was resumed when the transmission line was restored. But the power supply became normal after a few hours.”
