She expressed her profound appreciation for the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, which presented the rich heritage of Egypt over different ages to the whole world. This event also embodied the effort and great support provided by the Egyptian state under the leadership of President El-Sisi to preserve Egypt's cultural and archaeological heritage. Ms. Azoulay also expressed the organization's aspiration to continue and develop its cooperation with Egypt. The UNESCO takes pride in this cooperation for it sets a great example for a unique experience in the history of the organization's work and activity. These projects include in particular the development of Historic Cairo and the establishment of various museums, foremost of which is the Grand Egyptian Museum.
