Colombo (News 1st); President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has called on local government representatives to join hands to move forward with the government’s policy and development campaign. The President made this observation addressing a meeting of local government representatives held at the Diyatha Uyana premises in Battaramulla on Friday (26). Local government representatives from the Western, North Western and Southern Provinces were present for this meeting. The President also asked the local government representatives to go to the villages and work for the development of the villages to rectify the false propaganda. According to a post on the President’s Official Facebook page, President Rajapaksa had noted that the problems of the people should be solved by properly implementing the plans of the government.
