Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the salute of the parade as the chief guest through video teleconference, said Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) through a press release on Thursday. On behalf of the prime minister, Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed distributed prizes among SBP (Bar), BSP, BGBM, PBGM, BGBMS, PSC, and G Kriti cadets. A total of 120 cadets, including 116 Bangladeshis, 03 Palestinians and 1 Sri Lankan cadet, received commissions through the parade. He also won the “Army Chief Gold Medal” for excellence in military matters. The colorful parade was witnessed by the chief of army staff, diplomats of several foreign embassies, high-ranking military and civilian officials, local dignitaries and parents and guardians of the newly commissioned officers.
