Pressure is mounting on former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch ODM leader Raila Odinga or retire from politics all together to save the Kamba nation. According to the former governor, the Wiper leader is a regional kingpin living in the shadows of Azimio leader Raila Odinga. After cutting ties with Raila, Kivutha advised Kalonzo to go back to his Ukambani backyard and consult his community before making a new political move. “If Kalonzo is not calculative, Kamba community will only be liberated the day Kalonzo fades out of Kenya’s political scene,” Kivutha warned. The senator further called on Raila to shelve his political ambitions and instead support Kalonzo Musyoka.
