During his visit to Christchurch, Key also opened Avenue Health, a specialist skin and cosmetic surgery centre in Bealey Avenue. Key praised the building, which has won a national award for craftsmanship, but declined an invitation to go down the slide. FAIRFAX NZGreen Star, an independent rating system certified by the New Zealand Green Building Council, awarded the building a 5 Green Star Design rating for its sustainability. The first building was Vodafone's new Christchurch home, dubbed "InnoV8" by company staff.
