Whether it has been done quietly, or publicly, its been reported that the Duke of York has indeed been removed from the top role of several organisations. Some organisations have stated that it is 'no longer appropriate' for them to continue public associations with the Duke of York, The Telegraph reports. (Image: Getty)Of around 150 organisations contacted by the Telegraph, 47 are said to have confirmed they had ended their affiliation with the Duke. In November 2019, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English National Ballet also announced his resignation as patron with immediate effect.
