EDMONTON—Edmonton is gearing up for a visit from a member of the Royal Family this week, as Princess Anne is scheduled for a few appearances in Alberta’s capital. Princess Anne during her visit to the Southshore Centre to inspect her regiment, the Grey and Simcoe Foresters and dedicate the future Military Heritage Park, in Barrie, Ont. Commonwealth Walkways are a project that is part of Outdoor Trust, a U.K.-based charity that wants to develop similar walkways worldwide. The River Valley walkway in Edmonton will be the second in Canada once completed. Along with the walkway unveiling, Princess Anne is also scheduled to attend a private dinner with Mitchell.
