Now her spokesperson has confirmed reports that she has had blood clots, and is said to have been recovering at home in recent weeks. Born Baroness Marie Christine Anna Agnes Hedwig Ida von Reibnitz in what is now the Czech Republic, the Princess is married to the Queen’s paternal cousin and grandson of George V Prince Michael of Kent, 78. Formerly an interior designer she later became an author and has written a number of books on European royalty.
