A 25-year-old disqualified driver was sent to prison for four months at a recent sitting of Roscommon District Court for driving without insurance. Heino Trytsman, with an address at House 3, Old Convent, Ballyhaunis, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance before Judge James Faughnan. The court heard that gardaí were carrying out a mobile patrol and the accused was stopped at Rathbrennan, Ballybride, County Roscommon. The car was seized and the accused admitted that he was disqualified from driving. Judge Faughnan imposed four months’ imprisonment and disqualified the accused from driving for four years.
