Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says that a planned programme will be implemented soon to repatriate Sri Lankans who have gone to India for medical and other reasons. He was responding to questions raised by journalists after inspecting the construction of the 2000-bed Covid Treatment Intermediate Center in the Werellawatta area in Gampaha. Responding to questions raised by journalists, the Minister said, “We are working to bring Sri Lankans and Indian tourists to Sri Lanka as per the instructions given by the health sector. We hope to expedite the implementation of a special program to repatriate persons who have gone to India for health reasons or other needs.
