Gbenro AdeoyeThe Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has urged states and local governments to leverage their unique culture and tourism products to generate income and create jobs. The information was contained in a statement by Segun Adeyemi, the Special Adviser to the Minister of Information and Culture. Mohammed was quoted to have said, ‘’It is common knowledge that all the states and local governments have unique products, festivals and outstanding tourism sites. Meanwhile, the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi, has praised Mohammed for his leadership role in the promotion of tourism, culture and peaceful coexistence in the country. The monarch made the commendation on Thursday in Dutse, when the minister paid a courtesy visit to him on the sidelines of the event.
