The court allowed bail of RM8,000 with one surety, after the prosecution had initially sought RM20,000. Two days ago, Yep was charged at the Segamat Sessions Court, where he also pleaded not guilty. He is expected to be remanded at the Tangkak magistrate's court tomorrow before facing further charges at the Johor Baru Sessions Court.
