The Public Prosecution has revealed details of the killing of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, saying three suspects have been identified and arrest orders issued. Investigators later moved to the scene, where they examined the body, documented the gunshot wounds and collected evidence from the crime scene. They also took statements from people believed to have information about the incident. These findings led to the identification of three suspects, for whom arrest warrants have been issued pending further investigation. Saif was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his place of residence in Zintan on 3 February.
