The Swedish Foreign Ministry did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Iraq's Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning the attack. In Afghanistan, the Taliban have suspended all the activities of Swedish organizations in the country in response to the recent Koran burning. In June, protesters stormed the embassy in Baghdad during daylight hours over that Koran burning.
