Sparhawk Tavern held a soft opening Wednesday at 81 Bridge St., the space in the Sparhawk Mill that previously hosted Hayes’ highly regarded restaurant, The Garrison, for five years. Open Wednesday through Saturday from 4-8 p.m., Sparhawk Tavern is currently only offering takeout service, but the website says they’ll open the dining room and bar later in January. “We’ve leaned into the seasonality of @dandelioncatering and are very excited to feed you all with this project (Sparhawk Tavern),” Hayes’ post states.
