A temporary 20mph speed limit to facilitate safety measures during work on the A308 Straight Road features in this week’s public notices. The Royal Borough has made an order to set a 20mph speed limit along part of B3021 Burfield Road, Old Windsor, from its junction with B3021 Ouseley Road to its junction with Kingsbury Drive. The order is to facilitate safety measures during works on the A308 Straight Road and will come into operation from 12.01am on Monday, September 4 until 11.59pm on Monday, December 18. The Royal Borough is also intending to make an order stopping any vehicle from proceeding along part of Hatch Lane in Windsor from the northern boundary of the property known as ‘Pippins’ to the southern boundary of 3 Oakapples. The diversion route for those affected will be via Hatch Lane, Clewer Hill Road, Kentons Lane, Dedworth Road and Hatch Lane.
