Temporary road closures for gas mains replacement works across the area feature in this week’s public notices. Phase two will cover the part of High Road from its junction with Worster Road to its junction with Spencers Lane. Phase three will cover the part of High Road from its junction with Halldore Hill to its junction with Whyteladyes Lane, Lower Road and High Road. The alternative route for affected drivers is via Winter Hill, Bradcutts Lane, Dean Lane and Winter Hill. The alternative route for those affected will be via the A308 Marlow Road, A4 Castle Hill, A4 Bath Road, A404, A308 Marlow Road, A308 Furze Platt Road, A308 Gringer Hill and A308 Craufurd Rise.
