This award-winning string orchestra is known for its youthful energy, dynamism, and passion. The PJKO has achieved remarkable success, having won first place in the youth chamber orchestras category at the German Orchestra Competition (DOW) in June 2025. With a rich tradition since its founding in 1993, the PJKO is considered one of the most prestigious youth chamber orchestras in Germany. Conducted by Peter Michielsen, the concert will feature violin soloist Anton Carus, a student in Professor Julia Fischer's class, performing works by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, and others.
