Punch Bowl Social temporarily closes Cleveland Flats location for concept change

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Punch Bowl Social has temporarily closed its location in the Flats East Bank district, following a pattern of recent changes in the corner of downtown Cleveland. According to a post on the location’s website, the location is temporarily closed while the owners work on an “exciting new concept.” They suggest fans follow @punchbowlsocial on social media for future updates. Good Night John Boy, the 70s-themed disco club, will temporarily close Monday, Jan. 5 to move to the former Jade Steak & Sushi location alongside the Cuyahoga River. Punch Bowl Social, 1086 W. 11th Street, is a massive bar, restaurant and entertainment destination. The Denver-based chain opened its Cleveland location in 2015, complete with a bowling alley, ’80s arcade games, a rooftop bar and more.
