Simon UteborPUNCH director, businessman, distinguished agronomist and respected senior citizen, Dr Lekan Are, will be buried on February 21, 2020. Dr Are died on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State, shortly after midnight. According to a burial programme released by the family on Friday a series of events has been planned for the five-day funeral. The family stated that the last two days – February 20 and February 21, 2020 were reserved for their own services. On February 21, 2020 from 8am, there will be a procession from the Government College Ibadan to Oke Are, Aboderin’s Compound, Kudeti.
