Warns imposition of fines and strict action against violatorsLAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Director General Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman directed the authority to tighten its grip around the food business operators (FBOs) who were running their businesses without getting food licenses in Punjab. PFA seals 19 food points over unhygienic conditionsHe issued these directives while chairing a meeting at his office for taking a review of the PFA Licensing Wing. He also directed authority to bring the unlicensed FBOs in the circle of license as soon. The PFA DG said around 200,000 people were associated with the food business throughout Punjab among 60,000 food operators have got food license. He directed officials to take strict action against unlicensed FBOs.
