Punjab has broken all records in potato production, with a historic production of 12 million metric tons. Important progress is expected today between the high-level delegation of Kazakhstan present in Pakistan and the Punjab government for potato exports. The Punjab government is in constant contact with the federal government to ensure effective measures for potato export. Steps are being taken to access new export markets to ensure stability in potato prices and proper compensation to farmers.
