In the shocking footage, men traded punches while women, still wearing their fascinators, were seen trying to break up the fight. As the mass fracas spilled into traffic, the men were heard screaming and hurling obscenities at each other. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "The second day of the Grand National Festival has been another success as crowds gathered at the racecourse for Ladies Day.
