Share:ISLAMABAD - National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser likely to hold a meeting with treasury benches parliamentary leaders to discuss legislation on a mini-budget, likely to be presented next month. The NA Speaker will discuss proper time for presenting the supplementary budget and presence of lawmakers, background discussions with the parliamentary leaders revealed. The opposition has started planning to strongly resist the legislation in the National Assembly. Opposition leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif had expressed reservation over the expected presentation of the mini-budget. Sources said that the PTI’s senior members would also hold a meeting with allied partners to take them into confidence.
