The Changing the Guard ceremony at Windsor Castle is to take place less frequently because of security concerns, police have said. The military tradition, which is a popular tourist attraction in Windsor, will no longer take place every day during the summer, and will no longer be held on Saturdays at all. The move follows the decision to switch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace to fixed days in winter the wake of the terror attacks in Berlin and Nice. No decision has yet been announced about the summer season. Twelve people were killed and 50 more were injured when a terrorist drove a heavy truck into a packed Christmas market in Berlin.
