The detained RU student, Abdur Rahman CollectedThe detained RU student Abdur Rahman is a resident of Palipalash village of Bogra's Shahjadpur upazila. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a Rajshahi University (RU) student from a secret meeting of the banned militant outfit Ansar al-Islam in Rajshahi. Acting on a tip-off, RAB-5 conducted a raid at an abandoned house in Kazipara village of Godagari upazila on Sunday and detained four members of the militant outfit including the RU student, says a RAB press release. The detained RU student, Abdur Rahman is a resident of Palipalash village of Bogra's Shahjadpur upazila. He is a third year student of the Department of Geography and Environment in RU.
