RTHK producer Bao Choy Yuk-ling has returned to the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts today for two counts of making false declarations under the Road Traffic Ordinance. Choy was earlier arrested after she searched through a government vehicle database for an episode of the program covering the Yuen Long mob attack in July 2019. Dozens of members from the RTHK’s Programme Staff Union were also on the scene outside the court, chanting slogans to show support. The union yesterday said Choy was refrained from participating in the production of “Hong Kong Connection” since November, criticizing the RTHK’s management’s ill-treatment of Choy.
