A significant fire that broke out in a Tauranga "fight club" is now out. Tauranga MMA Fight Club on Birch Ave, Judea was well involved in flames around 5.20am. The Fire Service responded with 13 crews who extinguished the blaze. The Herald understands the club is affiliated with the Head Hunters gang. The Fire Service tweeted that the building is now being ventilated and a secondary search is underway to ensure the building is empty.
