The England forward was subjected to abuse during City's defeat at Chelsea last week and admitted he 'expected no better'. He returned to Premier League action as a substitute for Pep Guardiola's side against Everton on Saturday lunchtime and headed the third goal in a 3-1 win. The advert features a picture of Sterling with the quote: "Speaking up doesn't always make life easier. Guardiola was full of praise for Sterling following the Everton victory at the Etihad. "He is calm, happy playing, beloved in the locker room, so it is good.”
