Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the recent surgical strikes across the Line of Control, accusing him of “hiding behind the blood” of soldiers and profiteering from them. Speaking at his road show on the last day of his month-long Kisan Yatra from Deoria in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh to Delhi, the Congress leader attacked the PM over a slew of issues. “You (Modi) are hiding behind the blood of soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir and those who carried out the surgical strikes for India. The money has not come into the pockets of farmers, labour and small shopkeepers, but went into those of 15 top businessmen. The Kisan Yatra ended on Thursday at Parliament Street in the national capital.
