ALOR SETAR (March 29): Several areas in Kedah, including Kota Setar, Kubang Pasu and Kuala Muda, received rain on Sunday after months of hot and dry weather. “Several areas and districts saw rain today as forecast by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia),” he said when contacted on Sunday. Meanwhile, a resident in Titi Gajah here expressed his relief when it rained in his neighbourhood. “Alhamdulillah, it rained in Titi Gajah today. Although it only lasted a few minutes, it felt truly refreshing as it helped reduce the heat,” he said.
