Keep your raincoats close, Toronto. Heavy rain is expected to drench the GTA for the rest of the weekend, Environment Canada said Saturday. As much as 25 to 40 mm of rain could fall on Toronto before Sunday night due to a weather system sweeping over Southern Ontario, Environment Canada said in a special weather statement. With the rain will come wind, with Environment Canada forecasting gusts of up to 50 km/h starting Saturday night. Thunderstorms are also possible through Sunday.
