Rain to continue and sub-zero temperatures expected – as forecasters say best chance of a dry day is in the south


There will be highest temperatures of between 6 to 10 degrees, turning much cooler by evening. There will be highest temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees. It will be a cold day in Ulster with highest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees. It will be a cool day across the north and east with highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees. There will also be milder temperatures rising above average.
