Photo : CollectedDHAKA, Jan 23, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi Warriors clinched the title of the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) after thrashing Chattogram Royals by 63 runs in a one-sided final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today. It marked the second BPL triumph for a Rajshahi-based franchise, having previously lifted the trophy in the 2019–20 season under the name Rajshahi Royals. Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Nazrul handed the BPL trophy to Rajshahi captain Najmul Hossain Shanto as chief guest. A scintillating century from opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim steered the Rajshahi to a formidable 174-4, a total that proved far beyond Chattogram’s reach. Put in to bat first, Rajshahi got off to a flying start through Tanzid and fellow opener Sahibzada Farhan.
