Capital’s development authority Rajuk is demolishing a Gulshan house, 18 days after evicting BNP Standing Committee member Moudud Ahmed, who had been living there illegally, following a Supreme Court order. Rajuk and police official went to the house around 8am on Sunday, an hour before the demolition work started. Moudud told reporters that he was kicked out of his house on June 7 following a court order. “I do not understand why Rajuk is demolishing the house when the court is hearing two cases filed over possession of the property,” he said.
