Sadananda Gowda was a member of parliament representing Dakshina Kannada then. And the grief of having lost a child can be known only by a father who has lost one and I fully understand his grief. "The CM will need personal space at his time of bereavement and he needs to rebound from the same and start rededicating his energies towards the state," the former CM said. "In a way, we now are partners in grief," the Union minister said referring to the loss of his elder son — Kaushik Gowda, who too passed away in a road accident in Puttur in 2003.
