Giza Criminal Court of Appeals on Sunday upheld Sobhi’s one-year prison sentence but suspended its execution. Many fans have been left wondering about Sobhi’s future, specifically whether he will be able to return to Pyramids FC training or participate in upcoming domestic or continental matches, including the CAF Champions League. Sobhi’s lawyer, Hani Zahran, previously confirmed that appealing to the Federal Court would not halt the four-year suspension imposed on the player. “Ramadan will remain suspended until the appeal is reviewed, a response is issued, and a hearing date is set,” he explained.
