Oman, Singapore and Turkey have also officially announced that Thursday, February 19, will mark the first day of Ramadan 2026. The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, on Tuesday evening, declared Wednesday 18th of February 2026, the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
