Members of the National House of Chiefs are also expected to be at the palace today to take part in the late Asantehemaa’s funeral rites as the four-day event enters day two. On Monday, President Nana Akufo-Addo and former President John Kufuor joined hundreds of dignitaries at the palace to pay their respects to the late queen. Former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan and British High Commissioner, Jon Benjamin, were also present at the event Monday. Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II died at the age of 111 in November last year.
