[2]The Affordable Housing Grant offers £7.3bn from 2021-2026 to build different types of affordable homes. Last year, Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Secretary Michael Gove handed £1.9bn of housing funds back to the Treasury which could have gone to affordable housing.
