Rays' Blake Snell magnificent against the Blue Jays

The Blue Jays offence got swamped on Sunday by a tall drink of water named Blake Snell. Snell went 6.2 innings, giving up no runs on three hits, striking out 11 and walking two. Snell mixed in an effective curve, change and slider to go with his 97-98 mph fastball. Joey Wendle hit a two-out double to right in the fourth inning to score Pham and give the Rays a 1-0 lead. Borucki has now thrown a career-high 168 innings this season (in the minors and with the Jays), but says he’s feeling good.
