The idea of being the other side of the Moon and losing all communication for a while was preferable to sitting through Reading against Lincoln City on Easter Monday. At a quarter of a million miles away they were a bit closer to the Lincoln goal than Reading got for 90 minutes. Then against top-of-the-table Lincoln, Reading never left the launch pad. That was, until Lincoln won, secured promotion to the Championship, and completely dominated the stadium with their delirium. In 2006 Reading ran away with the Championship title, winning 106 points.
