Baroness Mone and Lord Heseltine are among a group of peers who have rebelled against anti-bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment workshops for members of the House of Lords. The “Valuing Everyone” workshops include instructions for peers not to get their aides to buy them theatre tickets, nor to compliment female staffers on their outfits. They became mandatory at the end of last year and attracted controversy after 60 peers were threatened with sanctions by the House of Lords authorities for failing to attend a session by the beginning of April.
