Red Dead Online's Economy Changes Work Well Enough, But Questions Remain


After players had a collective meltdown about the state of the Red Dead Online beta’s economy at launch, Rockstar reacted swiftly to course-correct, changing a number or prices and prizes, and also doling out rewards to “loyal” players, or those that had overpaid for goods already. So, with payouts increased and prices dropped, Red Dead Online is fixed, right? In short, I’m not really sure why I should…keep playing it, at least until a lot more content is added in future. In Red Dead what are my long term goals going to be? Red Dead Redemption 2 worked not because the loot hunt in singleplayer was remotely interesting, but because the story carried you along.
