The Red River in Winnipeg has dropped a touch since Saturday. As of 1 p.m. Sunday, the river was sitting at 19.1 feet above normal winter ice levels. Officials said on Saturday 25 homes needed to sandbag and another 25 were on standby and possibly required sandbag dikes. Multiple roads have since been washed out across the province due to high water. Provincial officials expect the Red River to crest on April 4 or 5.
