Lynn Dean, councillor for May Bank and Wolstanton, has been accused of posting racist comments about Black people and Muslims on X prior to her election. ‌Staffordshire County Council leader Martin Murray said Cllr Dean had now had the whip suspended after failing to disclose the 'anonymous' account during her vetting process. This is the latest racism scandal to hit the Reform group on the county council since it took control of the authority after last year's landslide election win. Cllr Dean has now been suspended from Reform UK."
