Relatives identify 17 of 26 Bangladeshis killed in Nepal plane crash


Bangladesh Ambassador in Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams confirmed the number of identified Bangladeshi victims to bdnews24.com on Saturday. Bangladesh already sent Nepal, a team of nine doctors including a forensic expert and two DNA lab technicians from Police Criminal Investigation Department. The collection of DNA samples from relatives of the deceased in Bangladesh will start on Sunday, CID said earlier. Ambassador Shams said the 17 identified by the relatives included three crew members. The identification of the bodies based on information provided by the relatives and forensic examinations started on Saturday, the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal said.
